Landmarks Contest #7

This is a picture of Mecca.  Mecca is a city in Saudi Arabia, a country in the Middle East. The city was the birthplace of Muhammad, the founder of Islam. Muslims all over the world turn toward Mecca to pray five times each day. It is the world’s holiest city to Muslims. Because of that, only Muslims are allowed to enter Mecca. Every Muslim who is able to must make a religious journey, or pilgrimage, to Mecca at least once. The pilgrims visit the Great Mosque.

What is the name of the black box in the middle of the courtyard?

Write your answer on a piece of scrap paper and place it in the Raffle Box.  The drawing will take place on Day 1.  Congratulations to Tae-Su who won Contest #6!
